FLUORITE AND BARITE
FLOURITE 
Our Fluorite (Pieces marked with *CMT) was mined by CMT in the Gold Camp area of the Pikes Peak region of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. We have many pieces available. All fluorite/fluorospar shown "in the rough" is scanned wet to show the beautiful coloration of these pieces. They may be cut and polished at a rock shop or you may spray them with a non-yellowing clear lacquer. You can get rough for tumbling from us as well, just email!

SLICES
This slice was cut at a rock shop and was scanned wet to show of the beautiful array of colors. You can see purple, and green Fluorite and some Feldspar in a Fluorospar matrix. Can be polished up if you have the right equipment or know a rock shop that can polish softer rocks. *SOLD

Barite
These pieces of Blue Barite are from the famous Stoneham area in Weld County, Colorado. Barite measures 3-3 1/2 on the Mohs scale of hardness and has a specific gravity of 4.3 to 4.6. The three pieces on top still have some matrix clay attached; they have been minimally cleaned to prevent damage. Nice light blue color, these were mined by Crystal Mountain Treasures in 2000.
